We decided on a White Pine, which is a beautiful tree and not very prickly.
Which is great except that a not prickly tree with lots of pretty shinny ornaments on it and a 15 month old, meant that the decorations had to start right at the top of that said 15 month old's reach.
There were lots of cold winter activities this Christmas. Papi took Charlotte out for her first "Ski Trip" (which was in the front yard). She loved it! 
Jake and I got a chance to snowboard when we were in Wisconsin. The first time back since Claire was born. 
And Claire's first sledding experience. Which as you can see she loved every minute of it. 
The girls got dressed up for the Christmas Eve service. Claire was IN LOVE with her shiny sparkly gold shoes. Getting sweet glimpses of a little girl. 
We made a ginger bread house with Grammy... 
Played with some cousins. (check out Claire in the background who is laughing so hard it looks like she is crying)
Did a lot of hanging out with special people...
And then playing with some Christmas toys.
This year Charlotte decided that she wanted to give Christmas gifts. So a couple of weeks ago we opened up her piggy bank and with her own money we went to Dollar Store. She picked out special gifts for everyone at Christmas. She wrapped them and got to hand them out. She knew Claire would love her first Oatmeal Cream Pie... and she was right. She knew that Aunt Becky would love her new fake nails... and she was almost right.
