Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Charlotte loves to care for her babies and hippo. In fact that is one of her favorite things to do. She will cook them something in her kitchen and then spend the rest of the time feeding them, kissing them, reading to them, putting them to bed.... She is a good little caregiver already. I found her sitting like this with a bottle making sure that, "Hippo drink milk". Oh yeah... she also likes to read naked.

So after Charlie got caught climbing out of her pack-n-play (and into little boys pack-n-plays at school). They have made me nervous. I don't want her falling on her head in the middle of one of her monkey climbs. So (against the wishes of the warning label on the side) I decided we were going to use it for something that it was "not intended to be used for". A fort. which Charlie has named "Fort Night Night" Although it is never used for sleeping, but she came up with it not me so I don't have to explain it. Ask her. She loves it. She has stolen mom and dad's accent pillows, and keeps a healthy supply of books to "read". As well as her "cell phone" which she is on regularly. Saturday night about 3 am she was in her bed and we heard the cell phone over the monitor. Beep Beep Beep.... "Peyton!! da da da banana da da da puppy...." Seriously Charlie, next time you have to tell Peyton something at 3 am text her!

Charlie and I had the week off from school. We had a great time, besides a clean stove (that had been much neglected) we also did some fun activities. We made lots of art... We went to the magic house with Eliot, and had a blast. And Charlotte had her first "dinner party". Made with her new kitchen. Puppy, Spiderman, and her 2 babies were invited. (Hippo apparently had a previous engagement...) I am loving the imagination it cracks me up.
