The Zoo. Sometimes I feel redundant. We have a free day what should we do... the zoo. The weather is great what should we do... the zoo. We want to get out of the house what should we do... the zoo. But here is the thing. I grew up hours away from a terrible zoo, when I was a kid it was a HUGE ordeal to make it anywhere to see a zebra. There were serious sacrifices that my parents had too make to get us to see a mountain goat let alone 5 baby tigers, or graceful swimming hippos that comes right up to your nose. We are currently less then 10 minutes away from a FREE world class, AMAZING zoo. It is just as easy to go to the swing set at the park as it is to watch apes swinging from the treetops. I remember one day telling my mom we just got back from the zoo. And she just said "wow, you must be exhausted!" I didn't really even know what she was talking about.
