The Suite Life of Charlie and Claire/ Charlotte at the Plaza

30 days in one room. We did it. We embraced it. We are moving out.
We learned
- an infant can go to sleep with her whole family around her although a door is an awesome thing.
-You can get all of your laundry done at the same time in a laundromat although a washer and dryer in your house should never be taken for granted.
-A kid can still play forever in the tub with only a washcloth and an imagination.
We also learned that we really love each other a whole lot- a.whole.lot. I know this because after this we are still together, and sometimes that is a pretty good indication that you got a good thing.
Here are some of our highlights from the month:

Charlotte helping me pick out the quarters to use in the laundromat. We had a giant coin jar in the old house and it came in handy...

Charlotte was the official elevator button pusher. She got quite good, and may have a career ahead of her.

We really tried to keep things simple, thus: microwave TV dinners. No one told Charlotte they were gross, so we kept the lie alive.

Very little space was needed to color.
So living in one room, generally meant that even though we all started out in separate beds every night, something would happen around 2 am and we would all inevitably end up in the same bed every morning. lots of love. not lots of space.

Now off too stay at our friends house while they are in Guatemala and then Greenville here we come.
