He was a good dog.

He freely gave his kisses
He protected his girls with fervour
He centered around his family
He greeted guests with offerings of nasty chew toys
He gently nuzzled the babies
He patiently tolerated the destructive toddler
He snuggled the child
He joyously ran along side those who ran and
he slept in with them when they stopped
He loved his family... and we loved him.

Lisa, so sorry. We had to put our dog down this year and it was one of the most painful things we've ever done. Still have yet to move her food and cage (and its been months). I know I've never commented on your blog before, but I felt like I just had to, because i totally get it, more than I would have 5 months ago!!! Hang in there.
