A Fargo Wedding

Last weekend Jacob's cousin Larissa got married in Fargo, North Dakota. So at 6 pm we loaded up the car drove to Kansas City turned right and went north until dawn. Since my entire world view of Fargo only included snow, murders and pregnant police officers that say "don't ya' know"... I was VERY pleasantly surprised with a great weekend with the family. The wedding was beautiful, and Charlie of course had a great time.

I hooked up with a hot usher.

During the receiving line Charlie told the groom's mother, "I'm gonna eat cupcakes!" And cupcakes she did eat.

Jacob (the hot usher) not to be confused with Usher the singer (uncle Bob) with his sister Abby and Papa.

Charlie and more cousin's learning the Cha Cha with Jacob's 2 aunts Wanda and Carol. Who are quiet possible the most fun people whether you are under the age of 5 or not.

During the dancing the kids were just outside the doors where they could all hear the music and carry on a party of their own.

And then the tornado hit. Seriously there was a touch down right outside of town. We all had to go down to the basement. It was a memorable moment indeed. But with plenty of books (cupcakes) and loved ones all around it almost seemed like a normal traditional wedding event like the throwing of the bouquet or cutting of the cake.
And then when it passed we all when back upstairs and the party continued, like only the Amundson's can do.
It was a beautiful wedding Larissa and Tim! Thank you for letting us celebrate with you!

I just wrote you a long note about how nice your blog was and how you must be techie and all. Well...It got deleted when I found out I had to log in to something just to drop you a note. So in short we had a great time too at the wedding. We should get together again when the opportunity is there. If you all want to stay over on a trip to PAPA's our home is always open to you and yours.
